Our Museums
Centerville-Washington History maintains and operates three different museums and a Research Center in the Centerville community. Please visit our Museums page to learn where each building is located and what each one offers. **note that the Walton House has five stairs at the front entrance and two sets of two steps at the rear entrance with handrails. There are 1-2 steps between rooms inside the museum.
The Asahel Wright Museum (937.291.2223) and the Walton House Museum (937.433.0123) are usually open Tuesday - Friday, 12-4 pm.
The Nutt Cottage Research Center is closed through March 2024.

The historical society has many different books and publications available for purchase online or in the Walton House Museum.
Titles availble include: Normandy Farms (The Land and Legacy of Richard H. Grant, Sr.), A Great Place to Learn (Centerville Schools 1803-2003), The Wilderness Doctor (The Life and Times of Dr. John Hole), A Sense of Community, and A Sense of Place.
